Hello!

Anyone interested in learning Malay words?? just post what words that you wan me to translate! and I'll try my best to translate them for you !! ^^

here are some Malay words:

1) How are you? - Apa Khabar?

2) I'm fine - Khabar baik.

3) Welcome - Selamat Datang

4) Thank you - Terima Kasih

5) You're Welcome - Sama-sama

No doubt the Malay language equivalent of "You are welcome" is "sama-sama", however, the meaning of "sama-sama" is not "You are welcome".

In the Malay language, when a person says "thank you", the person will reply " the same / same to you". Meaning that, "sama-sama" means the "same" or "same to you".
