Since I'm into traditional celtic folk I was curious for cultural links between celts and central asia .... and found Bashkir folk music. One should not be mislead by the yurtes and asiatic look of the people, today they are mixed with mongoloids. The melodies and arrangements are plain irish, with a mongol touch. Could that just be a coincidence?
