Can you believe it? An airplane boarding bridge in Paris CDG airport collapsed in front of me. it almost damaged the Airfrance A380 Airplane!!





The airplane boarding bridges located at CDG2 Satellite 3. It happened when the airbridge was approaching to the airplane as usual. Suddenly, airbridge structure was ruptured and broken into pieces, consequently, the airbirdge fell down and hardly knocked on the apron, with whole supporting structures deformed. The Airbridge was so close to the airplane and almost crashing into it. i saw lots of people running there, and they are trying do to something to avoiding more dangerous thing could happen.



this boarding bridge is quite special, it is very high and seems like to serve A380 airplane higher deck. i don't understand it because it is very new. of cause,CDG2 S3, was just put into service in 2007!



This accident let me to recall the roof collapsing disaster at CDG in 2004. what happened in CDG? i don't want to walk through the boarding bridge anymore.
