In recent months, there are dozens of Spanish unemployed who took a flight to Norway in the country thinking that more quality of life of the world could begin again. Far from reality, most fail to find work due to lack of skills and knowledge of the language.
The phenomenon began several months ago, in 2011, and has become a trend. Many Spanish desperate not find a job in Spain and drunk and TV reports that continue to proclaim to Norway as the country with the highest quality of life of the world, decided to pack up and look for new possibilities in northern Scandinavia.
The adventure was not as easy as they thought. According to reports the newspaper El País, the lodge Robin Hood of the town of Bergen, designed to provide assistance to Norwegian families with lower economic resources, has been staying at Spanish since last March, when there were already about 250.
A job that fails
They started being outnumbered men 40 to no longer receive any unemployment benefits in Spain, and later also joined women in their thirties. Half of the regulars of this center are Spanish, and can not find a job in the country due to lack of skill or pure ignorance of the Norwegian and English languages.
The hardness of Norway weather has made it not exactly easy, since many of these Spanish, exhausted their resources, still trapped in the country without a fixed residence, sleeping in stations and even on the street. A Madrid, for example, slept for three days on the streets of Bergen and had to be admitted with symptoms of frostbite.
The Norwegian authorities prefer to look away.
