Basic..preferably easy and respectful French phrases..

That's what I'm looking for...my girlfriend's French, and I'm going to meet her parents for the first time tomorrow evening. I barely know any French, I know how to introduce myself, and that's it. She says they're pretty good at English, but they aren't fluent. I don't want to go into their home, and just expect them to speak English for me, I find that might be rude. I feel asking my girlfriend to translate might be too much. I'm at a complete loss and don't know what to do. Help?
