Anyone know much about this subgroup or at least H6? Any links or articles would be nice. I am trying to get a bearing on where and when this emerged. :good_job:

Wow, it's been a long while since I visited this thread and still nothing - ha!

I did notice from this paper https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6790770/ (Table 1) there is an individual (o11009) from the late Neolithic and Bronze Age Sweden (1930-1750 BCE) with H6a1b3.

Yeah, it interesting to think that this close in time both my Y-DNA and mt-DNA have a close ancestor to this guy. His Y-DNA is also mine as well I-DF29. So both my Paternal and Maternal have an ancestor to this cat not too far removed.
