Ana T. Duggan et al have published a paper on December 12, 2013 at www.plosone.org/, discussing their analysis of several aspects of Tungusic DNA. What stood out for me was the Y DNA results. Not because it's mostly N and C but because it includes some 1*, some R1a, some R1a1 and one J2. I don't know nearly as much about DNA as some of you folks, but I found the 1* and J2 to be particularly surprising.
