Well I just want to know if there is any data or study on northern portuguese autosomical dna.
I am curious since this area is known for less neolithic continuity and more germanic tribes settleling in the area such as the suebi.

According to Ancestrydna, the Average modern Iberian is 51% Ancient Iberian with the rest being from invaders.

I'd get a DNA test from ancestrydna.com to find the answer to your question. I'd love to hear what the natives of each country have to say :)

interesting but where is the limit between ancient Iberia and New Iberia here?

The ancient Iberians were a tribal community before the Celts migrated into Spain forming the Celtiberians

Here is a link to their culture http://news.softpedia.com/news/Who-Were-the-Iberians-78220.shtml
The Iberian Basque had a settlement in Gascony and perhaps the Romans spead their genes far and wide http://i1.wp.com/www.cjroots.com/wp...estryDNA-Colleen-Greene-Iberian-Peninsula.png
Modern Iberians today I suppose would live in or have recorded ancestry in the Iberian Peninsula
:)
It's like comparing the Celtic Britians to the Modern British, the average British natives are 60% Ancient Britian so it's looks like the Native Iberians and Britians genetically absorbed their invaders over time.

The hunch that I have the most confidence on

Italy/Greece=Greco-Roman
Great Britian=P-Celtic
Ireland=Gealic (Milsean, Irish pirates or Viking trade influence?) If not these three options, I'm all ears on how the Geals could've made it to spain :)
Africa North/Middleeast=Moors
European West=Germanics
Scandinavia=Visigoths

My point is that History of almost avery country is a bit more complex- Of course you can put a point in time as cut-limit and try to compare the genes iherited from before and after this point in time but...
We even don't know if Celts and/or other I-Ean very close to them (kinds of Ligurians, like the Lusitanians, were not in "Iberia" before the genuine Iberians (or Iberes) themselves!
and Iberians/Iberes have been preceded by other human groups which never formed an unity, it was the "why" of my question...
SO, what do you put in the "iberian" bag -
by the way, the Celtiberians were not a mix of Celts and Iberians/Iberes but a celtic speaking population living in Iberia, what lead some ancients to give them this curious name.
