If anyone can help to understand my heritage I would be very grateful. My family is from Poland, what a chance to match someone?? Thanks a lot.

Your Ydna Haplogroup covers the ancient history of your Surname. Just like your last name would be passed down from father to son, so would Ydna. Your Ydna indicates that you are a direct descendant of Mesolithic Gravitation culture.

Haplogroup I is a Haplogroup Native to Europeans and covers all over the continent; I1 is most common in Scandinavia and I2 is most common in the Balkans so you'ld need to take a deeper clade test.

Here is the Eupedia link/ Maciamo's explaination of Haplogroup I's origin for more information

Hi, thanks a kot for your answer so fast.
Wich clide do you think i would need to take?
I don't understand much really, i all ready have done the 37 markers.
Why i'm not M253 bc all my ancertors are Polish?
My best regards.

No nation is 100% one haplogroup. People move around and borders change over thousands of years.

your welcome, the most detailed ydna test would be the ftdna y111 test.

I agree with Robert, no one is 100% ydna I nether is any country 100% 1 ancient civilization; in poland's case Slavic. Poland was visited by Germanic and Celtic tribes also but that is slightly a different subject :)

Cullen's Predictor is a bit outdated but still helpful: http://members.bex.net/jtcullen515/haplotest.htm

It predicts you with fairly high confidence to be in a cluster of Haplogroup I1 called "ML", or "Missing Link." This terminology is an old nickname for a cluster, I think of I1-DF29 if I recall correctly. You should be able to get a more precise assignment, or refined suggestions for additional tests, if you join the I1 Project: https://www.familytreedna.com/public/yDNA_I1/

Hi, thanks for all your answer, i will do what's your sugested to me Mister Sparkey, i will try to understand more!! someone can tell me what's that mean? M170M258P212P38L578L755L756L758L751L772

It appears that you are most likely Ydna I1 and a direct descendant of the Germanic Civilization; if M258 is a typo of M253/I1. Anyways, I'm baffled that I don't see Ydna I1-p212 anywhere in Maciamo' s Haplogroup Tree. If you are polish and you are truely ydna I1 you could be either a direct descendant of the Teutonic knights or Polish Vikings.
