I have a YDNA of J1 and am of Italian ancestry on my fathers side. How do I find out if it's Neolithic or Semetic in nature?

Furthermore, what's the difference between Neolithic farmers and Semetic culture/speakers if any?

I've asked Doug McDonald for help and am awaiting a reply.

I'm sorry, it still didn't give me many answers.

Someone said just because you have J-P58, doesn't mean you are necessarily Semitic.

I don't know how to solve this mystery.

J-P58 is 8000 years old, do you know your downstream from it?

J1-p58 is semitic and originated in southern mesopotamia/northern arabia.

Yeah I agree with you on this one, J1-P58 in Europe is Semitic and came in through various waves.
