Scientists analyzing dynamic forces on Lucy skeleton concluded that Lucy spent part of her life swinging on trees. She walked like a human but could climb trees like a chimp. In evolutionary terms she was half the way to become a human.
Lucy is exactly the evolutionary "missing link" between apes and humans. And pointing to the fact that we truly came from monkeys.
There is also some evidence that she died falling from heights and breaking her bones. Most likely falling from a tree.
