Wonder how America is doing as it marks its 228th birthday? Just go to New York for the answer. Groundbreaking is taking place for a new Freedom Tower that will rise up from the rubble of the World Trade Center. It will be the world's tallest building - a height chosen with symbolic purpose: 1,776 feet.

Yeah...they didn't exactly like my idea of rebuilding the towers in the shape of a giant middle finger pointed toward the middle east. I don't like the name either...seems like some artsy-fartsy politician named it, and it sounds cheesy.
