Sully Castle.

Introduction

A grand Renaissance castle that was the family home of the MacMahon, including Patrice, 1st Duke of Magenta, who was the first president of the Third French Republic.

The domain produces wine (white Chardonnay and red Pinot Noir), which can be tasted and purchased at the castle.

Opening Hours & Admission

The castle is open from 1st April to 4th November from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (until 7:00 pm in July and August), and from 26th to 30th December from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The castle exceptionally closes at 5:00 pm (last entry 3:30 pm) the Saturdays in June and most Saturdays in August and September.

Admission to the castle, park and garden costs 7.7 € for adults, 6.7 € for concessions, and 4.8 € for children. Admission to the park and garden only is 3.7 € for adults and 3 € for children.

Guided tours (in French) start from 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm.

It is posssible to have dinner at the castle. The price ranges from 45 to 120 € depending on the type of set menu and the wine options.
