I believe that the Creators are all Italians, but most stories are based elsewhere.

In Turkey Zagor was the most popular Italian comic as you can tell from my avatar.
Regarding Disney characters i have a good collection of Topolino, Zio Paperone, Paperino, Topomistery, Topolino adventure, I grandi classici disney, Giovani Marmotte and Paper fantasy :) almost all the stories were written and drawn by italian authors..
I've always prefered Paperino and Zio Paperone, the ones with Topolino as protagonist were boring Detective stories :bored:
Nothing beats Alan Ford, intelligent humour and bizzare situations. I used to read Zagor, Tex, Captain Mark and a whole bunch of those. Now I buy multipacks of Dylan Dog as a light summer literature.
