I ran those 20 markers in Ysearch and could not find anyone any closer than a genetic distance of 7, and that person lists his haplogroup as "unknown".

Who did you test with?

According to Whit Athey's Haplogroup Predictor, you are a T (K2 is the old designation), with a fitness score of 42 and 100% probability.

So, it looks like T is your likely y haplogroup, but you might want to get some more markers.
