How i know the biggest territory in Europe has Ukraine. But don't Russia because Russia is more Asian country. And Turkey i think more Asian. France not as big as Ukraine and Ukraine bigger then German. So what do you think about it? What country has the biggest territory in Europe?

Greenland?

Then I guess Russia is the biggest European country.

Honestly, even with the warning in the starting post, Russia is in Europe.

Geographically, Europe ends in the Urals... and that makes the largest country in Europe proper, Russia.

I second Sirius2b. Even with just the European part of Russia (up to the Urals), Russia is the largest. European Russia is very close to 4,000,000 square kilometers: compare to all of Turkey (even the Asian part, which is most of it) at 783,562 square kilometers, Ukraine at 603,700, and France at 547,030.

European Turkey is quite small, so Ukraine is a comfortable 2nd place.

Kudos to Mexican education! I was waiting for a good geography lessen reading some posts. Looks like most people don't have a clue where Europe ends.

*giggle*

Thanks, LeBrok... but, what Charles de Gaulle said?

« de l'Atlantique à l'Oural », :)

Regards.

That's a stupid thread. Geography isn't a matter of opinion. Closed.
