I don't know what I am any more, but it doesn't stop me from singing in a choir that gives an annual Christmas concert, going to the massive Sing Along Handel's Messiah in the city, and organizing a caroling group for my community association. It's our heritage and tradition.
This year I even broke down and went to midnight Mass. Partly, perhaps, I just wanted to ignore the mountain of dishes and pots and pans from Christmas Eve dinner for as long as possible. Cooking twelve fish dishes and then sides for a big group of people creates massive mayhem in a kitchen. There should have been fewer apostles.
The best Christmas movie ever....I watch it at least once every Holiday Season:
It's A Wonderful Life by the great Frank Capra and starring the incomparable Jimmy Stewart. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkU0u_FklzU
