All my matches are surname matches us in my group with exact matches are all from my 5 Great Grandfather the other are from a brother of his and I guess a mutation happend anyway here are the numbers mine are the top set without the deep clade on his part you can never be sure I'm SRY2627+ If you think we are related how far back?

at what level is he related?

I have zero related at 37, zero at 25 and 14 at 12level
3 wales, 3 england, 1 gotland (sweden) , 2 baden (germany), 2 tyrol, 2 northeast italy, 1 slovenian

you need to find out the formula for genetic distance, try the ftdna related documents for this

Thanks Sparkey his line had a person William Bruce that had over seen my 7th Great Grandfathers will Peter Bruce sr. He thought he might have been related even know no William is listed as being a son of Peter. I think he is related to the Bruce family that the Bruce crossroads are named after. As they lived in the same area of NC during the revolution. If he was related we would be talking what a thousand years?
