Just checking to see if anything more is out there about SRY2627

Yep.. see Stephen's update at tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/R1b-P312-Project/message/5287. Note I can't post links due to the 10 post requirement so below is a repost the info for the link above:

Here is what I have, excluding private derived SNPs known to be downstream from SRY2627+:

SRY2627+>CTS8289+
SRY2627+>CTS8289+>Z207+
SRY2627+>CTS8289+>Z207+>CTS4299+
SRY2627+>CTS8289+>PF742+

I am not certain of Z208+'s placement because no Z208+ Geno 2.0 results have appeared.

I have reason to believe that CTS4299+ is not private.

thetick -

My update that you quoted applied only to clusters A0 and A2 of FTDNA's SRY2627+ haplogroup project. After posting that update, I ran across Geno 2.0 results for a member of that project's cluster B0 (DYS490= 12) that indicate (1) that clusters A0 and A2 have Z205+ downstream from SRY2627+ and (2) cluster B0 has Z205-.

It appears that CTS8289+ is downstream from Z205+. Placement of SNPs Z199+ through Z204+ with respect to SRY2627+ and one another has not been determined. Clusters A0, A2, and B0 all appear to have Z264+, Z266+, and Z269+; their placement with respect to SRY2627+ and one another has not been determined.

At last check someone said SRY2627 has it's highest diversity in France is this still holding true?
And would this mean the mutation was born there?

Hello, everyone. I have been following this site for quite awhile now but, am new to posting anything. I have recently found that I am positive for Z205 and am wondering if there have been any new updates yet on it?
