I am regularly using the five main browsers to test this site's design. I have over 10 years of experience in the matter. Here is my verdict.
- Mozilla Firefox : fast and efficient, it is the most customizable browser.
- Google Chrome : almost as good as Firefox, but uses more RAM when several tabs are open. The option menus are not very clear or intuitive.
- Apple Safari : very similar rendering to Chrome, but slower.
- Opera : reasonably good, but sometimes doesn't display elements properly (especially the spaces and heights).
- Internet Explorer : by far the worst browser. It is slower, less customizable, has more cluttered menus, and fails to render many elements properly. It is the only browser that I would definitely not recommend using for browsing pages on Eupedia.
