FYI, there are hundreds of genes associated with autism (http://www.eupedia.com/forum/threads/28698-Network-of-192-genes-identified-as-underlying-cause-of-autism), and genetics is only one determining factors in autism (another important one is apparently one's microbiome (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3564498/)). Besides, autism is not a unique condition, but a very wide spectrum of very different, though conditions.
