it is very interesting, and it was to be expected, once they started analysing full genomes, much more detail is becoming clear, complicating the overall picture

yes K exploded , but so did F and C before
C subclades all have been renamed recently

if you want to rename all K subclades, maybe you should develop some logic that would apply to F as well

The paper seems to want to portray that the K group is the beginning of the spread of man at a faster pace, as I said an explosion of migration , I think these geneticist want to create these new K markers as a base for future data
 
Maybe it is better this way to show we are all related rather than splitting into subclades as if we are of separate "races".
