Don't get me started on Elvis! :) I never really got the Elvis mania until I was older and one of my much older cousins let me borrow her copy of the 1968 Come Back Special DVD. A Come Back Special in 1968! I finally got it: the voice, the charm, the humor, and the killer sex appeal. He's really beautiful...a spectacularly beautiful nose, for one thing, quite classical.

Anyway, I bought my own copy. There are some clips available on you tube. This is the early rhythm and blues and early rock Elvis. I just love it. So does the audience. :) He even mesmerizes his back up players.

OK, I'm listening to everything by them on youtube. They're my new fixation. They can actually sing anything, but in this one they turn the country vibe way up. He's an American Black and Tan Coonhound mostly, or so they told us. They're used to hunt raccoons but also foxes and bears in the mountains. He looks to me, in terms of European breeds, like a much taller and bigger Slovakian hound or maybe an Austrian hound. He's my 65 pound baby. :) Absolutely the best dog I've ever had.

Ok, Slovak hound He was more familiar with the Spanish, Cantabrian or Asturian hound, although here he is still not popular as a companion dog.
