View Full Version : The Anatolian Hypothesis
Who here takes the Anatolian Hypothesis seriously? Is everybody convinced that the Kurgan hypothesis is correct? How do we know that I.E. didn't spread with agriculture?
This topic is beat to death on here. Just read.
Who here takes the Anatolian Hypothesis seriously? Is everybody convinced that the Kurgan hypothesis is correct? How do we know that I.E. didn't spread with agriculture?I do still believe it is possible. But I'm much more sure of the so called Armenian model, Kurgan people of Leyla-Tepe and Maykop migrated into the Yamnaya. I don't believe in the Pontic-Caspian Steppe model at all, I'm 100% sure it's wrong. I do believe 90% in the 'Armenian Model' and still 10% in the Anatolian Model of the proto-Indo-Europeans that migrated into some parts of Europe during the Neolithic times!
