Hello there, I was in a little youtube discussion about the Celts on this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU1dKfMIEUQ and there are some dna observations that hit me; I can't seem to find any blog about the 1-5% Ydna R1B-DF27; that is spread out all over the British Isles. http://www.eupedia.com/europe/Haplogroup_R1b_Y-DNA.shtml#DF27

I have two questions that could be possibilities

-Are there any R1b-DF27 sub clades that are Distinct to Ireland

-Did the British Invade Scotland and Ireland; alas every Scotsman and Irishmen with Ydna R1B-DF27 are directly descended from an Englishmen

-Or both

Thanks :) if there is anything that doesn't make sense, please feel free to comment and let me know.

There is 1-5% of DF27 in the British Isles, not 5-10%.

The "Basque" DF27 originated either in France or in southern Germany.
