I have discovered an interesting story, how the Iberian SNP I-L126 line could be arrived onto the Iberian Peninsula.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_the_Suebi

See history “6th Century and annexation, Britons” and the map onthe right side.

There are I-M284 on the British Isles and on the Continental Europe, but there are more on the British Isles than on Continental Europe. But where are all I-L126 now, who had one I-M284 ancestor.

I think on the British Isles and on the Iberian Peninsula (= in Spain and perhaps in Portugal). Other I-L126 who are different from the British I-L126 and Iberian I-L126 could be stranded in the “Bretagne” in France. I think there are 3 main lines.

Who carries I-L126? Apparently, we see a lot of British names and in Continental Europe there are only a few Spanish names.

The Spanish onres seem to have origins in Galicia and Extremadura. Ancient Suevi territories. And there is only a genetic difference of 7 by 67 markers between both. See: https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/m223-y-clan/about/results

If they came with the Suevi to the Iberian Peninsula it must be more of them on the Peninsula, like on the British Isles, but it is not. There are a lot of Spanish R but not I-L126 (or I-M284).

I think that when they escaped from the Anglo Saxons, the Spanish I-L126, a Germanic people, went back to their clan, the Suevi, on the Iberian Peninsula.

What are your thoughts on that?
