Hi!
CARTA (Center for Academic Research and Training in Anthropogeny) are hosting a symposium on Ancient DNA and Human Evolution on 29th April 2016 from 1pm to 5:30pm pacific time. The event will have nine eminent speakers and will be accompanied by a live open access web cast but you can watch it online later if you can't watch live. See here:
carta.anthropogeny.org/events/ancient-dna-and-human-evolution
I have very much enjoyed previous symposia and you can catch up here:
carta.anthropogeny.org/symposia/past_list
though I find this easier:
youtube.com/user/UCtelevision/search?query=CARTA
The earlier symposia weren't filmed and the next few after that aren't well recorded. Later ones are all available on YouTube, iTunes and UCTV.
Sorry if everyone already knows this.
Best wishes,
Paul
