According to Eupedia's mtdna J page, J1c5c is connected with the Basques.

Even if you are not from the Basque Country, one thing is for certain. J1c was Mesolithic Balkans whom got absorbed by Neolithic Farmers/Herders. A Neolithic arrival to Spain would give J1c5c might give an Ancient Iberian origin; J1c5 is found all over Europe.

My great great grandmother was originally from a small town Grazalema of Cadiz. The truth is that I have two match 12 chromosomes with someone of Navarra and Alava and one with someone from a population of Granada know suffered a sharp restocking after the expulsion of the Moors, and 8 match with people of Northern Ireland and Scotland 37 chromosomes because my test was to 37. Perhaps the case of a round trip.

I am J1C5C... I did a full mtdna HRV1, HRV2 and Coding Region test with FTDNA.

I am ethnic Albanian from near Kosova. My maternal line is from there too.

I found a full match with a Greek Proffessor. His maternal line was a Greek female from Turkey.

I was surprised that Eupedia puts J1C5C among Basques... as on the FTDNA it states my MTDNA group is found at 0.3% amongst Greeks/Italians (not enough Albanian tested but I assume it would be similiar numbers).
