The big expansion into Eurasia by haplogroups D, C and F ca 45 ka was preceded by development of a new set of stone 'blade' tools with tools made from bone and a hypotesised 'behavourial modernism' .

Exact the same development happened 20.000 years earlier in South Africa.
For a while it was hypothesised that and investigated whether the origin of the 45 ka expansion would lie in South Africa, but no prove of that has been found.

Now these people 60 ka in South Africa are supposed to be the ancestors of the Khoisan, who once expanded over all Africa south of the equatorial rain forest, but ca 1.5 ka the eastern half of them were replaced by the expanding Bantu tribes.
