Erdogan took it very serious this referendum, and his challenge against Gullen,
(the man also faced a military action against him) that Turkey today is full of Foundamentals,
even common and calm people turn to this mania,
It will take more than a decade to calm down the 'warm-heads'

Erdogan gains support with further polarisation
he is very popular right now, because economy in Turkey was very good and he claims it is his work
but the economy is over the top since 1-2 years now and Erdogan did undermine the basis for the Turkish economy
Turkish economic prospects for the next years are very bad
but if Erdogan can take more power nobody will dare to criticise him any more
it will be a very dangerous situation
and whatever goes wrong, the Turks will have inflicted this on themselves

that is the main problem,
with the Arab spring Erdogan also took the chance to declare himshelf defender of Islam,
If he succeds we might have another Putin and billionaire,

But if the NO comes, Turkey will face huge political gasp, and problems,
if the referendum goes for NO we might see soon very big political anomaly there,
and if goes YES Turkey will transform to Russian style of politics.
I agree that this referendum divided and pushed to the limits the Turks.

it certainly is Erdogans ambition
in the end he will ruin Turkey, but in the mean time he'll cause a lot of trouble elsewhere too
