A Turkish newspaper published the following:

The European Research Council (ERC) has awarded Turkish scientists a €2.5 million ($2.9 million) grant to analyze the DNA of 1,500 people who used to live in the Anatolian region – the Asian part of present-day Turkey – during the Neolithic period.
.......
The study will cover the period from 10,000-7,000 BC.

The number of anDNA samples is really skyrocketing. Even 350 samples which the researchers plan to focus on for "deeper analysis" is phenomenal! A bit too ancient to my liking, but still highly interesting.

I hope these Turkish scientists will invoke the help of specialists to have the job done, and not improvise on their own
that is what I think is happening with the Indus civilization project from which we still don't have any results
