DNA Day Offers. As a commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the publication of the structure of the DNA and 15th anniversary of the near completion of the Human Genome Project, leading genetic testing companies are offering discounts. I am really excited! But it is going to be tough choosing between these. Any suggestions on which I should go for? I missed the crazy Black Friday sale!

1. Living DNA is giving a 20% discount on their DNA kit.

2. Xcode Life is giving their health report, FREE of cost on 25th and 26th of April with coupon code DNADAY2018

3. My Heritage has announced their autosomal DNA kit for just $69.

4. 23andMe is offering both Ancestry and Ancestry + Health report at a 30% discount on 25th April.

5. Ancestry DNA will sell their DNA kit for $59 till 29th April

6.Family Tree DNA's Family Finder Test will be available for $49 till 28th April.

You have about 10 hours left to upload the Ancestry.com Raw-Data to 23andme for FREE.

There were some minor changes between my 23andMe V4 data and my Ancestry raw data upload.

V4
French and German: 31.4%
Belgium: 2 dots
British and Irish: 23.4%
Iberian: 0.8%
Sardinian: 0.7%
Italian: 0.3%
Broadly Northwestern: 31.3%
Broadly Southern: 9%
Broadly European: 3.1%

Ancestry Upload
French and German: 32.9%
Belgium: 2 dots
British and Irish: 24.8%
United Kingdom: 1 dot
Italian: 1.9%
Broadly Northwestern: 32.7%
Broadly Southern: 5.8%
Broadly European: 1.9%

The most surprising difference was that with the Ancestry upload I received 1 dot for the United Kingdom even though I have no British ancestors in my paper trail and I received zero dots with my V4 sample.

Besides getting 2 Dots for Italy (got only 1 with 23andme original), my results are almost the same when compared with the v4 Chip.
Higher Broadly on the Anc. upload.
V4 Italian 68.2% 1 dot
Anc. upload 59.9% 2 dots
V5 Italian 58.6% 1 Dot
Other dots are the same.
