Poznań (Posen) was the 2nd (after Cracow) most ethnically Polish big city in the world before WW1, Warsaw was less Polish in terms of % of inhabitants, but had a higher number of Poles. Lwów (Lviv), now in Ukraine, was the 2nd largest city (after Warsaw) with ethnic Polish majority. Chicago had the highest number of Poles of any city, Warsaw was 2nd.

BTW, Wrocław (Breslau) was just as Polish in 1900, as Vilnius (Wilno) was Lithuanian at that time.

Wrocław had 2,0% Poles (8,466 Poles out of 422,709 total population) in 1900
Vilnius had 2,0% Lithuanians (3,131 Lithuanians / 154,532 population) in 1897

=====

Percent and number of Lithuanians in the city of Wilno/Vilnius:

1897 - 2,0% (3,131 Lithuanians out of 154,532)
1916 - 2,6% (3,699 Lithuanians out of 140,890) ---> in Breslau there were 3,62% Poles in 1910
1917 - 2,1% (2,909 Lithuanians out of 138,787)
1931 - 0,8% (1,579 Lithuanians out of 195,021)
1959 - 33,6% (79,400 Lithuanians out of 236,100)
2001 - 57,5% (318,510 Lithuanians out of 553,904)
2011 - 63,2% (331,500 Lithuanians out of 524,566)
