Hello everyone!

I am from Greece and my Haplogroup is J-FGC4415.
What do we know about it?
When was it formed??
Is it connected with any specific tribe, ethnicity, etc?

FTD asks extra 119$ for J-FGC4415 SNP Pack.
Should I do it??
If yes, what should I expect to learn extra from that?

Thank you!! :-D

I know of many Arab tribes' members who came out on FGC4415. Particularly the Tayy tribes and many others. If you Google FGC4415 you'd find their projects. They can probably help you. Generally, I'd say it's Arab.

Yes indeed. FGC4415 is of Arabic most ancient origin. Part of this branch went to Spain during the Middle Ages the Islamic kingdoms of which were called Al Andalus. There is a research program about these FCG4415 bonds with Al Nasrid dynasty of Granada and possibly that most important of Umayyads of Cordoba Caliphate.

Hello,

Can you please add your kit to FTDNA group project: FGC4421?

FGC4415 is a wide spread SNP. It's better to test FGC4415 SNP pack or to take the BigY test.

I'm FGC4415>>FGC4422>>FGC4421+
