Hi,
I am new to the population genetics business and got tested by LivingDNA. My mtDNA group is HV which I understand is a precursor to the common H group for Europeans. I am French but only a few percent of French seem to belong to HV. They only found 6 mutations from the rCRS reference, which may not be surprising as this reference belongs to H2. So from there how can I know more about by matrilineal history?
Thanks
