Dude, I think that you need immediatly visit the doctor. I understand if you will shy a bit but think about it bro, you are able to lose your little buddys power forever! I think that he will tell you to use some medicaments like this one and thats all. Nothing dangerous or ashamed.

Divorce if you have prenup . If not find a guy to set her up to cheat on you, have proof, divorce, get a new woman, she doesn't like you anymore probably and is going to look for other dudes behind your back.
Or try one of those sex therapists or therapists for couples relationships

That's why we have internet porn. ;) Leave her alone in this regard, but enjoy her other good qualities, if any.

Good grief! If you don't satisfy her needs someone else may do it.

Don't just resign yourself to it or get a divorce. You might find you have the same problem with the next wife.

Buddy, look in the mirror. If you don't like what you see, neither does she. Fix it.

Take some lessons if need be. Treat it as an adventure and bring your wife along with you. If that's not enough, go to a doctor and get medication.

Oh, and talk to her sometimes. Actually listen to what she says. If she's knocking herself out with work, cleaning, and cooking while you're on the sofa drinking beer and watching sports, get up and help her out.

It just happened to my best friend. I do not know if this is the case but there is a kind of woman who once the children are big enough no longer needs the man and the most direct way to tell you is to completely cut off the sexual relations, an invitation to leave your life .

I thought the OP was talking about the situation where it was just "him" she didn't want, and he was afraid she'd go elsewhere.

If they're just mismatched it's a bigger problem.

Some women do have a pretty low libido, and it does get lower with age naturally, just as part of pre-menopause, so if they start off pretty low, well, that's too bad for them and for their husbands.

I hate to suggest hormone replacement therapy, but I've known women like that, and they tell me it helped. If it were me I'd be worried about the side effects, though.

I suppose that would be one way of figuring out the problem. If you're honest that you'd like more intimacy and ask her why she isn't interested, hopefully she'd be honest in return. If it's not a problem with you, your appearance or skill or the state of the relationship, and just general decrease in desire, perhaps you could suggest that she see her gynecologist. You would know where you stand if she won't even consider it. In that case, maybe divorce is the best answer.

It's not easily solved even by getting to know the woman, or the man, pretty well before marrying, because probably some people disguise their "character" in this regard just to attract a mate.

Take it positively and enjoy yourself and your new freedom a bit more. Go have a nice trip!
Maybe when you are back things have changed. Anyway life goes on.

Why are you guys assuming that she must be cheating on him. There are other explanations too. Maybe we are dealing with very sexuly active man and a woman with low libido? A big mismatch. Also, you know, there are people completely not interested in sex. Sex is nuisance to them that they don't get. People like this exist, you know. Google, asexuality.

See post #8. :)

If she loves her husband she should be willing to try to come to some sort of accommodation, going to a doctor if need be. It's not fair to him to expect him to live that way.

If it was always that way, and he knew it before he married her, then I'm at a loss. I guess if the marriage is otherwise ok, then he's stuck.

Maybe it's like the difference between someone who loves food and someone who just grudgingly eats to live. They can't put themselves into each other's shoes.

This is one of those things you should really know beforehand.

depends what each think sex is.......love or lust
if its love, then ask why she does not love you
if its lust then she or he should have no problem with going elsewhere
maybe, marriage should only be a 10 year contract and then one needs to renew their contract after every 5 years after the initial 10

I know of a woman who had a pretty good libido, and she lost it all the day she got married..
(no, I'm not talking about my wife)

She was lying before that just to get married. If you like sex a lot there's no way that you're going to stop liking it from one day to the next.

I've always felt sorry for women like this. Well, I guess there are men like this too, although I doubt they admit it like women do to their friends. They're just missing out on so much. It was like describing chocolate to someone with no taste buds.

Sorriest of all is the situation where the couple is mismatched.

People shouldn't do this to one another. It's so unfair.

He should have divorced her. It's not a marriage, imo, because she was deceiving him.

Ed. I wonder if in the past some women lied and tried to pretend they "didn't" like it? It wasn't considered "lady-like" I bet.

(no, I'm not talking about my wife) You got me there. :)
I believe that both parties play courting game before the marriage. Basically, selling themselves to each other how good they are. Men lies about not drinking much or being very helpful and generous, and women lie to like sex as much as men and like going camping, for example. The truth comes out after the wedding, when the deal is closed and they don't feel like pretending anymore.
And no, I'm not talking about my wife either. ;)

Lying about whether you like to go camping is a lot different than lying about whether you like sex. :)

The latter is really not fair to the other person. It's a huge part of "married" life, and a tremendous bond if it's great for both of you.

As Ray Romano's mother told him when she got into her late 80s and the filter was gone: "You know, Ray, I stayed with your father for so long because the sex was "very" good." :)

Poor Ray. He wasn't ready for that much candor. :)

Poor Ray: he should have married a woman like mom. :)

It's about a friend of mine.
Their marriage lasted for about 10 years.
They both were partying a lot before they got married.
Before he had dropped a very nice lady for this woman he married with.
After marriage sex was finished.
After marriage was finished, he rambled around for a few years, like a roling stone.
Now he is married with a 17 year younger woman.
Every year she has her birthday, he complains to me 'he's with an old woman now'.
The woman is still a friend of my wife.
When she has drunk a bit and is in the mood, she comes after me, but I don't fancy her.
The other men around do however.

Poor guy. He doesn't seem to have very good radar when it comes to picking women.
