Interesting that the major conversion from forest to open areas was when the steppe herders arrived, not the farmers. Animals need more cleared land, I suppose.

afaik, there was deforestation in the Vinca culture, not due to farming but due to charcoal production for copper smelting
there was population growth but no substantial migration to that area during that period

They see it from 4000 BC, but it substantially increased after the arrival of the steppe people. The majority of it occurred, they say, after 2000 BC.

I'm relying on them because I wouldn't have the first clue where to go about finding the data.
