MyHeritage stealing data over from promethease?

I read this fairly unsettling post on reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/prometheas...acy_complaint_they_said_i_didnt_have_data_in/
Basically it says that since the person once used promethease then myheritage now owns his data...
Anyone else saw something like that, and what is your opinions about it?

prometheause sent emails to every one to have the option of deleting their data before myheritage took over.............if people fail to do that, then it is their fault or they want their data to remain .............same thing happened with Gedmatch recently

Promethease and SNPedia have been acquired by MyHeritage, the leading global platform for exploring family history

both good companies
