These two Southern Italian chefs who made careers in England are much more respectful of the original recipes of the areas of Italy they visit, and don't "Neapolitanize" them as do people like "Gino", a Neapolitan chef also working in England who has numerous series on the BBC.
Here, the "Two Greedy Italians" go to my home area, Liguria. I could have told them not to bother with Portofino. It's no longer Liguria or even Italy anymore. They do find the real Liguri and real Ligurian cuisine in the mountains, but I wish they'd gone to the small coastal villages as well, although not the Cinque Terre, where half the restaurants are now owned by southerners. I also wish they'd spent more time in La Spezia and gone to the traditional restaurants there.
