Hello, my maternal haplogroup is U1a1. I can't find much information on the subject other than that it comes from the Middle East and I have the impression that it is quite rare, am I correct?

I am from Northern Greece and at this region this haplogroup is rare too. I will test my father at wgs and i will see more specific subscale on YFULL. His haplogroup is U1a1a on 23andMe
