Reconstructing past human genetic variation with ancient DNA.

I'm talking about the Takarkori Libya samples. Could they be the from the people who were the ancestors of the Nuerat people (The small part that is not from the Levant)?

Reconstructing past human genetic variation with ancient DNA.

There is some new data from the Sahara I believe the genetic component is very unique and there is some discussion on how it relates to Iberomaurisian, East African DNA, and Natufians. Could this affect the 90% Natufian 10% East African HG of the Ancient Egyptian samples? I mean Egypt is just...

    E-V13 Frequencies and New Data

I haven't researched the Albanian subgroups of E-V13 that much, but when I do read about them I see people discussing differences between different locations, North and South, different tribes. The fact that they have enough samples to do that for such a small country is already a great...

Genetic study Ancient DNA reveals diverse community organizations in the 5th millennium BCE Carpathian Basin

I never saw the postscript, I'm guessing it was edited on January 5th. I have my own theories... but let's say I prefer to let the data talk, and that we could be getting this data soon 😁

Reconstructing past human genetic variation with ancient DNA.

It says restricted until February 2025, which is only a week away. Unless there is something I'm not seeing.

The data should be released in a few days. For some reason at some point between this post and now the paragraph about Egypt has been removed from the page. Maybe instead of the Hyksos bringing the CHG, they found evidence that suggested Sea Peoples settled and brought it? Unlikely but possible.

News New L618 positive CTS1975 negative samples (-V13)

The E-M35 project has a new Czech sample that is E-CTS1975 from Family Finder. No markers. As of now there are many L618+ and V13- samples on familytreedna. Hopefully they are upgraded in the future, they could form branches with some of the ancient samples we already have. A bunch of older...

    E-m123*

It will likely be clear if we know the autosomal or downstream SNPs of the sample, but it could be a remnant of Radhanite jews

Genetic study Ancient DNA reveals diverse community organizations in the 5th millennium BCE Carpathian Basin

You cannot compare the two, E-M123 is much much older at 17000 years old and has many diverse subclades. There are subclades within E-M123 that are of Levantine, South Arabian, Eastern Africa, Central Asian, European for thousands of years. So it does not make sense to say it is Levantine from...

Neolithic Refuge and Continuity in Transylvania

Is my understanding correct that there has to be an E-L618 majority culture somewhere here during the Chalcolithic, because they had to have merged with Indo-Europeans to have the population explosion by the middle bronze age when most other haplogroups present here were practically wiped out.

Genetic study Ancient DNA reveals diverse community organizations in the 5th millennium BCE Carpathian Basin

4 E-M78 samples that old is a pleasant surprise. Only one is identified as E-L618 in the study but one is E-Z1919 xV13. It's likely that all 4 are L618 but we'll see. I hope they are added to the FamilyTreeDNA tree as soon as possible. It's interesting that they are present at a low but...

    Was Saladin R1a Y-DNA?

The Yazidis are Kurdish speaking so they are very relevant. Their predicted subclade is the sibling clade of the the samples above, so I would say it's very possible that they all cluster together. I don't know if any of these families have a paper trail, but hopefully these samples are...

    Was Saladin R1a Y-DNA?

This account published 5 samples from 3 families descended from Saladin, all clustered together in E-M2 under this line https://discover.familytreedna.com/y-dna/E-FTF29033/tree https://www.yfull.com/tree/E-Y161190/ Since the Shaddadids have a strong link with the Caucasus it would be...

History Center of Europe changed from Greece to France after Umayyad conquests

The main connection between the the Islamic lands and Christendom appear to be Andalusia and Sicily. In late antiquity all the regions appear much more connected instead of being split into Islamic and Christian. I'm surprised by the sparsity of connections to Egypt in both maps, for a region...

    Iranian E-M215, M35-

From what little remains we have now, I'm starting to suspect that we will many basal or extinct E-M215 branches all over North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Many branches possibly went extinct with the desertification of the Sahara and the Arabian Peninsula roughly 5000 years ago. There...
