Do you know any data that sub-categorize the E-m123 in Fyrom, Bulgaria and Turkey?
There would lay a decisive answer whether the E-m123 found in the area, is recent or from an ancient population migration.
As for the Kukes district in general, it seems it incorporate a lot of Slavic Muslims...
Albanians in the Ottoman empire had a relatively high geographic mobility, mainly due to being the bulk of the ottoman armies in west-central and south Balkans, as well as being the administrative class in half the Balkanian villayets/pashaliks. They controlled all the area from Athens to Bosnia...
Kukes is the border region of Albania that Run across the entire Albanian-Kosovo border. Several interesting facts have been unravelef from the Y-dna study on Albanian people by the Rrenjet project with possibly explanatory value about the historical events of the last 1000 years conserning...
By my estimates, if you place it in Y-dna terms, East Med of K13, it's the equivalent of Majority J(probably mainly J2) with minority old R1b (or even maybe R1a too- in the place or supplementary to R1b- look Iranian E.Med) and some E lineages.
Kemet Panafricanists are mourning.
I ve seen a paper actually that ancient Egyptians would be close to Abrahamic or Mosaic Hebrews. Or.. the other way around.
Here is a more detailed map about the regional rates of PH1751 in North Albania, based on the data from rrenjet.com. I think it's clear where PH1751 came from, and it seems to validate my long standing claim about the medieval homeland of Ghegs. Take a note how tiny is the amount of PH1751 in...
Ghegs spilling over from some remote mountain region somewhere in the border area between Montenegro-Albania-Kosovo seems correct based on this map i ve made using the data from rrenjet.com
Note that the Coastal Northern Albania seems to have also low Ph1751 rates. My guess they built up as you...
Italians dont have higher E-m123 though than the ares around North Albania, which if we believe the Slavicist narrative they are mainly Slavic in origins. So if it's 3% now in FYROM, it should have been 9% or more originally in the native population with whom the incoming Slavs mixed with. One...
The movement of populations concurred with the collapse of Giorgos Kastriotis State, the Kastrioti-Ottoman war, and the Venetian Ottoman war.
All of them occurred in North Albania. Plus the Earliest settlement of Arbereshe were done by Kastriotis troops as a Reward for the Services he provided...
Why would Arbereshe have high level of Slavic DNa (allegedly) when there is little Slavic(allegedly) DNA in North Albania and Kosovo today?
As for E-M123, Italy hasn't greater presence of E-m123 than the Balkans, so how would mixing with the locals elevate their levels?
There is an Arch of...
You are in a Genetics forum buddy.Genetics are discussed in a genetic forum. With evidence if you can. I ve used the data from two Albanian genetics forum and peer review papers, not my theories. And the evaluations/conclusions from Both projects. Data and are like letters, they form words, and...
Well, according to The Rrenjet :
a) Labs have twice as much J2b(not just ph1751) as other Tosk.
(Note; Tosk should be taken in a geographic sense, aka a proxy for a South Albanian region with in the known linguistic divide borders.Whatever Gheg or Vlach populations settled in the area in...
J2a exists practically only in South Albania. And in small traces what ever quantities managed to reach north Albania due to sociopolitical reasons in last 10 centuries; slaves, slave soldiers, converts, soldiers, refugees etc. It is a main lineage in The South and in Arbeneshe in South Italy...
