    K1a13

Hey there. My maternal haplogroup is K1a13, I've been able to trace back my motherside genealogy till 1680 in french flanders (really close to the border with belgium) So here's my question, is K1a13 typical to there ? May it be related to Frankish people or Belgae tribes ?

    Iberomaurusian and E-L618* enigma

Yes I used ySeq predictor, Geneanet and Morley. Both gave me E-L618 as terminal subclade (or synonym in the case of Morley) which confused me a lot as I thought it's pretty high in the philogenetic tree. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

    Iberomaurusian and E-L618* enigma

Thank you for the precision Hawk ! Riverman, unfortunatly I did the 23&me test, my closest relatives are: #1 - 0.58% DNA shared, Algeria, no more informations. #2 - 0.56% DNA shared, French, comparable autosomal (68% from MENA, 31% european, 1% other). Maternal haplo H1 #3 - 0.51% DNA shared...

    Iberomaurusian and E-L618* enigma

I've been searching for information about origin and migration routes of mypaternal haplogroup, E-L618, and I've read it's associated with Mechta-Afalou / Iberomaurusian culture, mostly. This culture is known as the "paelo-berber" but Mechtoid men carried mostly E-78 (and subclades) haplogroups...

    North African E-v13 subclade ?

Thank you all for answers. In fact my father is chaoui and my mother from northern france, so I'm mixed. Never heard about much recent interbreeding in Aures mountains, no much french nor Ottoman nor Spaniard. I presume it may be from Roman or byzantine conquerors, but it's almost impossible to...

    SNP Tracking map

Hi folks. I've been uploading my raw datas from the autosomal test of MyHeritage to YSEQ, and it gaves me the prediction for Y-hap E-L618 I've been also uploading it to Morley's predictor and it says: E-L250 (E1b1b1a1b1a4 or a7 in 2013 ISOGG tree) It seems that this E-L250 was part of E-V13, or...

    Origin of E-V13 in Algeria

Quick upload: it appears that the only E-L618 (which is now reported to be the upper branch of E-V13 on yfull v9) tested in Algeria is from Tebessa, which was founded by the romans for the Leg. III Augusta. It coes like this: E-L618 E-Y182141 (found in Sicilly and Algeria) E-BY64249 My...

    Origin of E-V13 in Algeria

Thank you very much for your friendly answers, sorry for double posting if an admin comes through here, I tried to put a bit more details on the other topic. In any way, the lack of datas from north africa is a pain in the eye.

    North African E-v13 subclade ?

Hi, I've been analysing my raw datas with Morlay predictor and it says: E-L250 aka E1b1b1a1b1a7 But ISOGG says E-L250 is E1b1b1a1b1a4 and now related to E-L143. From there, I found that it was related to E-V13 (wikipedia E-V68 page) Then I checked the geneanet predictor, it gave me: E-L618. I...

    Origin of E-V13 in Algeria

Hi everyone ! My fatherline is from Aures mountains in Algeria, from a berber background called Shawi people. My Y haplogroup is E-V13 (old E-L250) but it seems that there's not more than a single percent of this haplogroup there, and I haven't more details. Can I found a way to estimate its...
