I was raised on farms in Illinois and Iowa, and since I left home, have spent most of my life outside the US, mostly in Japan, Germany and Indonesia. I've always been interested in languages and speak Japanese and German fairly well. The language of music is one I love to share the most. I have spent many years studying the field of human potential, and pondering the questions of what is really going on here in this "reality" of physical life. I love being in nature and feel especially strong connections with stones and trees. And I love the richness of physicality, including gourmet food, touch and scent. My two daughters have been raised all over the planet, and we don't consider ourselves to be from any one place, rather, citizens of this beautiful planet
