^^Reich is also a co-author of the Lazaridis pre-print so maybe there is something in the new paper that will explain it. Maybe we will finally get to see those samples too.

To me autosomal analysis is paramount because it constitutes 98% of your DNA.
That being said, I assumed Anatolian_N was simply a holdover from the Paleolithic Caucasus, rather than a mix of WHG and Levantine sources.
It also seems to me that this completely discards the Lazaridis et al. 2018 pre-print. I don't get it, didn't two other papers verify the existence of the Dzudzuana population?
From my recollection...

Thanks for sharing, but I think it is likely they came from Central Anatolia, considering Greece_N has autosomal DNA from Anatolian_N plus a bit of CHG.
Why not read the story before commenting? He is using wokeism to sow discord against HIS RIVALS.
It is called divide and conquer.

Wokeism is also a propaganda tool that foreign actors use to sow discord in rival nations.

We're friends with a Jewish couple, the husband is Ashkenazi, the wife is an Iraqi Jew. She has light features, like blue-ish eyes, and light skin; she could pass in Europe.
^^Some groups like Druze, BedouinB, and many middle eastern Jews look like they don't have any.
Maybe like 5-10 %? I'd personally say "trivial" is something that is trace amounts. Egyptians and some Yemenites have a pretty respectable amount of SSA.

There's a large amount of Natufian and non-trivial SSA that also make near easterners different however.
I think waiting for these samples is absolutely essential, yes. Right now, a lot of this stuff is just speculation.
But that would be like taking a sample of everyone in NYC living today, and using the aggregate to determine that average ancestry of NY or the North East. It also doesn't take into account that...
I also believe these are the people who mostly shifted Italics/Etruscans south, since MA Rome can be modeled as mostly C6 (not C5 or C4) in antonio et al. 2019.
\
It could be modeled that way too, but I tend to think Western Jews are basically like heavily ancient Greek-like enriched Levantines
That's because Moroccan Jews and other Western Jews have a lot of common ancestry with Ancient Greeks/Southern Europeans. Nice try, but no dice.
0.3% Finnish, probably something from Normans or Lombards. But so much for the genetic ping-pong of radically different groups from more recent times. My DNA corroborated with recent papers on the...

Glad you mentioned that, because the Giudecca do seem like very tiny areas within the cities they're in. Here's an example of Claustro Giudecca in Altamura.
