that was David Anthony's theory 15 years ago, but it was rejected by the first major paper on steppe DNA

he should be related to the common ancestor of the Neanderthals, Denisovans and modern humans
Reich seems to make good publicitiy for his papers to come.
proto-indio-european origin at the eastern end of the southern arc
according to some this is India
the Out-of-India, here we go again
can't we await the publication?
When I read all this, expectations are high.
I hope the paper will be published soon.
E-L618 was detected along the Croatian coast amongst Cardial Ware farmers.
E-V13 was confirmed in 7 ka Cardial Ware in Catalonia, but they were probably pré-E-V13, that is E-L618.

I wonder what is the difference between Natufian / Levantine PPNA and Central Anatolia Neo.
I haven't seen any models in which both are present.
I guess that both were the similar to Dzudzuana...
afaik there is no data available yet to prove or disprove it, but I believe the Levant Neo PPNA are the direct descendants of the Natufians, maybe with some minor admixtures
farming in the Levant...
sumerian or mesopotamian?
sumeria is submerged under very thick layers of sediments, hard to reach
the context may be different, but it's the same :

It is the Salzland area, the land of the salt.
It became wealthy since the late neolithic due to the salt trade.
It has a complicated history.

My impression is that allthough the Negrito's all look similar, they are 2 different populations or maybe a mixture of them.

Thank you Kingjohn
afaik the only Hoabinhian DNA we have is from 2 males, La368 and Ma911 in this study :

they seem to form a deeply divergent clade, somewhat...
are there any advantages for having blond or dark hair?
by what means?
No peace without justice.
correction : Dzudzuana = 72 % West Eurasian + 28 % Basal Eurasian
Anyway, the pedigree in this study is not compatible with the admix tree of the Dzudzuana paper.
MDS seems to be a new fashion.
However I have the impression that 15 genomes, of which the oldest is abt 13 ka offers enough resolution for a detailed 26.000 year old history.
WHG would have split...
note that Tagliente is very close to the mesolithic R7 & R15 in the Moots paper, both Y-DNA and autosomal

Indeed the real cause of the mammoth extinction on Wrangel Island is not sure.
However it is clear that these mammoths did suffer from genetic deterioration due to long-time isolation.
I agree...
