I have R1a1 as well, and possibly down to R1a1a1. From the Netherlands by the way. No one from the caucasus down to mid 18th century.

I have the same results. Guess we need to find another place to improve the quality of the results.

The thread is still valid, as there seem to be few R1a mtDNA people around. Would be interesting to know where these people come from.

I have it as well (R1a1a1). I am dutch to 1750.

I noticed that there are no discussions on the mtDNA R haplogroup and descendants. 23andme puts me in Ria and the jameslick calculator in R1a1a1.
