And especially John of Gaunt, I'd say. It did call my attention when I laid my eyes on his portrait. :)
Indeed. Perhaps it could be clarified by testing descendants in male line of Henry IV of England? As possibly some French Langlée, who would have claimed descent* from John of Clarence - Bastard of...
Apparently the source for Dietrich was ysearch, again. He and some others are mentioned in the following thread:

Do you know the subclade by any chance? There're Irish Cummins who belong to G-Z31348 (under G-FGC477). Not sure they are related to the Cumming/Comyn and/or to your friend.

Hey, no need of such comment, but ok. The focus is on the (non-)existence of R1a among Ossetians.Trying to contribute some way...
You mentioned Ossetians, so what about South Ossetians? I see that...
Yeah, and G frequency would be very high among Svans as well.
Actually it'd be the most frequent in South Ossetia as whole, too.
Now, the G in Circassians seems to be mostly G2a2, while in W....

I've read that about 40% of the French would not get a vaccine against Covid. I'm impressed.
This is an interesting article about it.

Sure. You could try the SNP Z139, here: https://www.yseq.net/product_info.php?products_id=30239 .
Some alternatives:
- Lab "created" the virus, which was spread out (un)intentionally.
- A natural virus was released on purpose.
- A natural virus was being studied, and (accidently) "escaped"...
I'm in agreement with Morley then.
Again, cool results!
The results you've sent me are very interesting. As I told you, if they're correct, you'd be either a basal I-Z58 (I-Z58*) or a pre-I-Z139 (Z139+, Z138-). Either way, cool! :)

I've posted it just for comparison. I also wanted to compare Barcin vs. Tepecik, but I have no idea on how to use other tools such qpAdm. :)
