Extraordinary selection on the X Chromosome

I wonder how are the X chromosmes of such different peoples so similar... If you think about it, (global)Westeners don't have admixture of women that carry haplogroup M. But somehow, their 2 X chromosmes are more or less identical.

Scientist claims humans will be able to upload consciousness onto computer.

Why would we want to have our intelligence on a computer? We already have brains of our own and they're logically better in holding our minds, consciousness and emotions...

Films & Series Netflix docu-series with a black Queen Cleopatra.

The weirdest thing in all of this is how they defend this casting calling Cleopatra "a melanated sister"... Yikes

    Rh negative are WHG

https://www.eupedia.com/forum/threads/25603-New-map-expansion-of-agriculture-in-Europe Looking at this map, I came to the conclussion that Rh negativity must have come from Great Britain/Ireland. The biggest peaks of the trait today are in 2 mountainous regions, The Scottish Highlands and the...

    12% of al-Andalus women are non-Spanish

Well, Ireland and Italy are known for receiving settlers from England and Germany during the last 2000 years. That must be why YOUR U2e haplogroup is in Italy/US.

    That african U5b1b1

Maciamo commented in the U5 entry of this site (in the genetics section) that there was U5b1b1 haplogroup among NW sub-saharan Africans. According to YFull https://www.yfull.com/mtree/U5b1b1b/ It's just some centuries old. Which leads me to think it has to be some back migration of people from...

Do Portuguese and Galicians come from "France"?

Yes, I think that they already stretched along the border area. I'm not even sure that the Castillian(Z220) and Aragonese(L176.2) branches entered through the NE. I think Z220 could have entered through the Atlantic border (Basque country).

Do Portuguese and Galicians come from "France"?

No, R1b comes from the area of Austria/Germany before exploding in numbers in the West. Before that you most likely had it from Czechia to Ukraine.

ABO blood group and disease resistance

Yes, even cultures in Europe closer to Asia(Russia) have extra B type. I think A must be more European, B more of Asia and O is the default(African)

There were magrebis in Punic sites Question, are we talking about the colonies of the Phoenicians? Plantation economy like British India? They're an assimilated people?... What do we know about the relationship of Cananites and locals? Also, I wonder if it's in this time when the E1b1b-m81...

    The origin of haplogroup I1-M253

I1 became an elite Haplogroup I1 is SHG. Think it this way, if everybody was an immigrant, you could not explain the WHG/SHG ancestry in Nordic nations. Besides, there's simply no reason to believe otherwise, I1 expanded at the beggining of the Middle Ages FROM Scandinavia. Haplogroup I1...

Uruk and the Emergence of Civilization-Patrick Wyman

This is really interesting. It clearly shows that brain and ideas came first. As well as principles and moral codes. Indeed, all the current "understanding" is overturned because of this.

Do Portuguese and Galicians come from "France"?

The Portuguese and Galicians claim to be and look Celtic have haplogroup R-DF27... They also brought a Celtic language and culture that we know of from archeology. Paloegenomics show that during that same time the percentage of ancestry from Central Europe rose all over the Iberian Peninsula...

    Haplogroup Y resulta JPF4838

In other post you said it was haplogroup j-l283. This clade descends from Jews, that until their expulsion in 1492, had a very large community in Spain. Don't know if you tried to know cousins in FamilyTreeDNA, but if this is similar to other lineages, you will find Jewish matches(from Poland...

    Out of Africa overhyped

There's the possibility WE come from populations in Europe(or Western Siberia) while having distant relatives in Africa. That possibility is never explored. Even though haplogroups, autosomal DNA and fenotypes suggest that's the case.
