Am I still obsessed with rz2124? Definitely but more progress.
Pictured are some plays around new Tian Shan hunnic matches. Also in my new file are the appearance of Kirov readings near to Bashkortostan, at ~2.5%
And a look-alike Old Believer a group dispersed to baltics/north russia right...
I am simply trying to explain why the discussion of Canada and Greenland is not as crazy as people make it sound today.
I am trying to imagine the alternative to a mindset that the US and EU are twins or siblings. In this alternative, posturing for greater territory in North America and...
I really do not have a political mind (or a mind at all) and so it's hard to reply, and hard to try and see the future. My own personal perception is that America's most indissolvable ally is the UK, by history, ethnicity, and language.
Especially considering the US has a significant Roman...
I kind of want to share my own silly opinion of what we have seen so far.
Assume everything below contained in my post is way off mark and written by somebody who is really not good at these things.
Basically we looked like we were going to fall hard left. Then the hard right appeared. But one...
Hi,
Previously I have posted about r-z2124 and the research following. Not wanting to bump that thread, and to post in the smaller R1a forum...
DNA Chron shows these positive SNPs that are subclades of r-z2124.
Particularly the first one is interesting because it seems to be the terminal SNP...
Spain results as well. It's hard to say, I'm not sure of the genetic impact or history of Bretons. However it seems values 7+% might actually be indicating trackable ancestry. I expect I'll be in the common trace category of below 4%
My results are processing for another few hours. Wanted to try and guess based on looking at people's new results
[Guess]
50% English
15% Irish
15% Swedish
10% Welsh, Scottish
5% Baltic
2.5% Finnish
2.5% Breton
Breton seems extremely common for isles now and one person with 7% had known ancestry
Nice. I end up basically with Icelander, Lithuanian, and 30% Basque, which is... I'm not sure. Just modeling ANF, perhaps. Or ancient Briton overlap? Something along those lines, I don't really have the knowledge to say.
I think the new update is interesting and just beginning. On the other...

Probably very subject to change but just found it 🙏
This might be a silly idea, but I only say it because it is different from what I usually hear.
Western Europe is more prone to sea-faring, while Eastern Europe is more inland focused.
I looked at the Wikipedia chart for ocean-border to area-ratio (or something) and it passed somewhat intact...
To be honest, a decade ago, I could have listed tons of things. I was obsessive and watched environmental YouTubers, zero waste people, and so on.
Now, probably most of my environmentally friendly practices are by coincidence. Or maybe it's a form of mastery.
Don't have a car. Don't even have...
To be fair, if I checked a bag, I'd only do so prepared to lose it. Only a carry-on bag for me and often it's at my feet. And a soft backpack prevents gate checking.
Interesting. But maybe that doesn't necessarily exclude the 0.5. If you check the actual version number, my honest understanding was that all who received 2.0 received 2.5. But that might be because those who receive it, are naturally those who post
